A vibrant specialist primary school in Bracknell, Berkshire is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with a passion for education who wants to make a meaningful impact on young learners.
In this role, you will support students in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, focusing on literacy and numeracy. The school also offers the potential for teacher training in your second year, making this the perfect opportunity for those aspiring to become teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the classroom to help students stay engaged and meet their learning goals.
- Provide small-group and one-to-one support in numeracy and literacy.
- Work alongside the class teacher to create an encouraging and productive learning environment.
- Support the emotional and academic development of students.
Ideal Candidate:
- A graduate with a 2:2 or above in any subject (Education, Psychology, or related fields are advantageous).
- A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
- Experience working with young people in any setting, such as youth work, sports, or similar, is desirable but not essential.
- Organised, proactive, and committed to staying for the full academic year.
Details:
- Role: Teaching Assistant in SEN School
- Location: Bracknell
- Start Date: Immediate
- Pay: 83 - 95 per day (dependent on experience, qualifications, and training).
- Contract: Long-term temporary, with the potential for permanent positions.
- Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
- Experience: Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
