We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic Supply Chain and Operations Team. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will support the purchasing process and assist with key operational tasks, including:

  • Timely and accurate processing of purchase orders.
  • Efficient processing of invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and proper documentation.
  • Reconciliation of discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and received goods.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Collaborating with team members to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase productivity and minimize errors.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and analyses as required.
  • Responding to inquiries from suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members.
  • Providing administrative support to the business support function as needed.
  • Supporting logistics activities, including stock checking and ordering of science consumables.

Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working in a collaborative environment within a science community, and who have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a large organization.
  • Proven ability to work effectively to changing timelines and priorities.
  • Strong planning, tracking, and delivery skills for your own work.
  • The ability to work independently, effectively prioritizing tasks with limited supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with purchasing systems, such as SAP and SAP Ariba, is essential.

Education:

  • Up to Degree Level (or equivalent relevant experience).
