AccountabilitiesSupport purchasing process in the Supply Chain and Operations Team including:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders
  • Process invoices efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies
  • Uphold high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks
  • Reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and received good
  • Maintain strong relationships with core suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errors
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses as required
  • Respond to inquiries from suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members
  • Support additional administrative tasks within the business support function as needed
  • Support logistics activities including stock checking and ordering of science consumables

Who we are looking for:We seek people who are enthusiastic about learning and working as part of a science community driven by cutting edge research with the following:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a large organization
  • Demonstrated ability in working to changing timelines
  • Demonstrated ability in planning, tracking, and delivering own work
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and effectively prioritise
  • Strong eye for detail and outstanding organisational skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package and knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Proficient in purchasing systems such as SAP and SAP Ariba
