Reed Finance is partnering with a leading Automotive organisation recruiting for a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and the Board of Directors. This pivotal role focuses on delivering sound and timely financial management, encompassing monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, business plan preparation, and audit compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping financial strategies and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare business plans and conduct analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and manage relationships with audit partners.
  • Develop and enhance internal control policies and procedures to improve financial management.
  • Work closely with management teams and key stakeholders, including funders and manufacturers, to maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Support the transition of business models in alignment with industry changes and company goals.
  • Drive performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction through insightful financial leadership and risk management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, within the automotive sector.
  • Strong ability to report directly to senior management and engage with the Board of Directors.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a commercial eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and forge strong professional relationships.
  • Adaptability to change and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
