- In this role you will be responsible for overseeing consultants carrying out fire safety inspections as well as direct line management of 7 operational staff carrying out FRA works and repairs in properties
- You will be overseeing major investment programmes for fire safety-related compliance
- Strategically lead fire safety initiatives to ensure highest standards of quality, design and regulatory compliance
- Ensure all projects align with current fire safety legislations
- Tender packages, liaising with contractors, tenants and regulatory bodies
- Maintained comprehensive and transparent records of fire safety information throughout the lifecycle of buildings
- Provide expert advice on fire safety matters to internal and external stakeholders
- Budgetary control/responsibility and cost analysis of projects
- Attend regular meetings and update records electronically
- HND / HNC level in construction or building qualification
- Extensive experience in fire safety management, particularly in social housing or related industries
- Strong understanding of fire safety legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and other relevant regulations
- A driver with access to their own vehicle
- Experience of contract management, budgetary control and cost analysis
