Fire Safety Manager Permanent Opportunity via BRC Jobs:               Fire Safety Manager    Location:        Wiltshire  Sector:            Housing & Property   Duration:       PermanentHourly rate:   £52,000 - £57,000Start Date:      ASAP    BRC are working with a not for profit social housing provider to source a Fire Safety Manager to join a dedicated fire safety team to provide safe and comfortable homes across Wiltshire   Main Responsibilities:
  1. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing consultants carrying out fire safety inspections as well as direct line management of 7 operational staff carrying out FRA works and repairs in properties
  2. You will be overseeing major investment programmes for fire safety-related compliance
  3. Strategically lead fire safety initiatives to ensure highest standards of quality, design and regulatory compliance
  4. Ensure all projects align with current fire safety legislations
  5. Tender packages, liaising with contractors, tenants and regulatory bodies
  6. Maintained comprehensive and transparent records of fire safety information throughout the lifecycle of buildings
  7. Provide expert advice on fire safety matters to internal and external stakeholders
  8. Budgetary control/responsibility and cost analysis of projects
  9. Attend regular meetings and update records electronically
  Job Requirements:
  1. HND / HNC level in construction or building qualification
  2. Extensive experience in fire safety management, particularly in social housing or related industries
  3. Strong understanding of fire safety legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and other relevant regulations
  4. A driver with access to their own vehicle
  5. Experience of contract management, budgetary control and cost analysis
