Job Title: Regional Environmental Team Leader

About the Role:
As a Regional Environmental Team Leader, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams working on nationally significant infrastructure and landscape-scale restoration projects. You'll oversee environmental assessments, ensure technical quality, and mentor team members while contributing to innovative projects like the South East Strategic Reservoir Option (SESRO).
About Our Client:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), SEA, WFD, HRA, and other environmental consents.
- Review and approve environmental deliverables, driving technical excellence.
- Oversee the regional environmental team, managing resources and mentoring team members.
- Support business development efforts and tender processes.
- Recruit, supervise, and provide pastoral care for the team.
What Our Client is Looking For:
- A degree in an environmental-related field.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional institute (IEMA, CIWEM, etc.).
- Strong understanding of EIA, sustainability, and consenting processes (planning, HRA, WFD).
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing projects to budget and programme.
- Experience in client-facing roles and building client relationships.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Consultancy experience is required; construction stage delivery experience is advantageous.
