Assistant Financial Controller

This is an excellent opportunity in an established name in Yorkshire as an Assistant Financial Controller and play a key role in overseeing financial operations across five sites in the Yorkshire region.

This position is predominantly based in Bradford with flexibility for some home working. Regular travel to dealership sites across Yorkshire will also be required.

• Oversee the daily accounting operations across multiple sites.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct detailed data analysis and financial modeling to identify trends and opportunities, providing actionable insights to the leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards while maintaining robust internal controls.
• Prepare and consolidate comprehensive monthly management accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and accounting standards.

• Proven experience in a similar multi-site or dealership environment.
• Expertise in producing consolidated accounts at a group level.
• A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
