We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team and take the next step in their career. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate period-end reporting, maintaining the balance sheet, processing journal entries, and assisting with various ad hoc projects. As the position grows, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, contributing to their development while further enhancing your own expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly financial reports for divisional directors
  • Performing in-depth variance analysis on monthly financial statements
  • Preparing and securing approval for balance sheet reconciliations
  • Working closely with FP&A, in-country finance, operations, and HR teams to ensure accurate transaction reporting
  • Overseeing year-end statutory and tax compliance
  • Acting as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors
  • Supporting various ad-hoc tasks as required

The ideal candidate for this role will be part-qualified or fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA. Strong organizational skills, the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive attitude are essential. The successful candidate should be able to work independently while demonstrating a willingness to collaborate and support team members when needed.
