An exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a leading manufacturing/supply organisation in Bradford, responsible for all aspects of financial management, financial accounting and group accounting, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and budget and forecasts preparation.

Description
- Oversee all financial and accounting operations
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Manage annual budgeting and planning preparation
- Manage month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Be the main contact for external auditors
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident personality who can build relationships across finance and the business
