Description

  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate requirements.

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with site management to align financial plans with business objectives.

  • Manage cost control by monitoring production expenses, overheads, and inventory valuation, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.

  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies while strengthening financial controls and risk management.

  • Provide financial insights and strategic support to site leadership, aiding decision-making and long-term planning.

  • Lead and develop the site finance team, fostering collaboration across departments to drive financial and operational success.

Profile

The ideal candidate should be or show:

- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified

- Experienced in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management within a manufacturing or engineering (or similar) environment.

- Ability to go beyond compliance and reporting, providing proactive financial insights that drive business decisions.

- A proactive approach to identifying efficiencies, managing risks, and supporting a fast-paced, evolving business.

- Confident in presenting financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, working collaboratively across teams.
