Gifford and Partners are leading a key process to appoint a Senior Management Accountant. A role with a bit of everything:
- The autonomy to challenge and enhance processes, making a real difference.
- Business partnering where you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, PE partners/Investors and some exposure to the banks.
- The opportunity to coach and develop a small team and non financial and operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the year-end audit process, working alongside senior finance leaders.
- Reviewing and reconciling balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and recommending improvements.
- Produce of monthly MI pack for the board and senior stakeholders.
- Support future M&A due diligence as well as integration of acquisitions into the finance structure.
- Preparing and reviewing monthly MI reports, ensuring accurate and timely financials.
- Managing month-end processes
What we are targeting:
Ideally you will be ACMA/ACCA qualified with experience in management accounts. A strong and confident communicator and able to work across teams, influencing and guiding decisions both with financial and non-financial stakeholders. A Strong accounting background and a requirement to proactive and adaptable at seeking out and targeting key improvements.
