We are working with an outstanding company within the public sector, who are looking for an assistant accountant to join them on a permanent basis, working part time (41 weeks of the year). The role is full time hours, and would suit someone who requires school holidays off.
The company are an excellent, medium sized company and will join a finance team of 2 other members within this setting but the group have a large finance team.
Duties include:
- Produce the management accounts and other month end duties
- Full end to end purchase ledger - including processing invoices
- Bank and accounts reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Checking financial transactions
- Process cashbook payments
- Manage daily petty cash
- Raising sales invoices
- Assist with the forecasting and budgets
- Assist with checking the payroll including wage slips.
- Other ad-hoc duties

Skills:
- AAT qualified is essential
- Experience of MS Excel is essential for this role
