RG consultancy are working with a SME based in Bradford who are looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is a small accounts team, and you will report directly into the financial director to assist with all aspects of the finance department.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Bank and accounts reconciliations
  • Processing high volume invoices
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Matching and coding invoices
  • Reconcile company credit cards
  • Assisting with month end including some management accounts, accruals and prepayments.
  • Cash flow management
  • VAT returns
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Some administrative duties such as; answering the phone, filing invoices and more

The Candidate:

  • Knowledge of Excel, Share-Point and Sage these all desirable but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
