RG consultancy are working with a SME based in Bradford who are looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is a small accounts team, and you will report directly into the financial director to assist with all aspects of the finance department.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Bank and accounts reconciliations
- Processing high volume invoices
- Weekly payment runs
- Matching and coding invoices
- Reconcile company credit cards
- Assisting with month end including some management accounts, accruals and prepayments.
- Cash flow management
- VAT returns
- Processing staff expenses
- Some administrative duties such as; answering the phone, filing invoices and more
The Candidate:
- Knowledge of Excel, Share-Point and Sage these all desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
