Description
- Assisting the fixed assets team to ensure the smooth and accurate running of the register
- Bank reconciliations and journal posting - closely monitoring journal compliance
- Assisting the team and the wider finance team with month end procedures
- Helping put together reporting at month end around expenditure, depreciation, additions and disposals
- Communicating with key stakeholders across finance and the wider organisation
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- Significant prior experience in an assistant accountant role
- Fixed asset experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
- Any experience using SQL and Power BI would be an advantage but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Job Offer
- A competitive annual salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000
- A 12 month fixed term contract with chance of extension
