Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and ambitious A.V. Installation/Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily cover the Yorkshire and Lancashire areas. The ideal candidate will be well-presented, an excellent communicator, and possess a strong work ethic, along with confidence in their technical abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install bespoke audio-visual systems in high-end residential properties.
* Perform cable installations, including second and final fix work, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
* Terminate and connect various types of cables, including CAT 6, CAT 5, and speaker coax.
* Engage with smart home technology and demonstrate technical expertise in the field.
* Build and manage racks with meticulous attention to detail and effective cable management.
* Work with a variety of systems, including Control4, Lutron, Crestron, and Cisco.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven installation experience with bespoke audio-visual systems.
* Excellent knowledge of cable installation practices.
* Strong technical acumen and a passion for smart home technology.
* Familiarity with rack building and cable management techniques.
* Experience with leading A.V. systems (Control4, Lutron, Crestron, Cisco) is highly desirable.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
