Are you a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk seeking a rewarding opportunity within a purposeful organisation, that provides temporary shelter and services to vulnerable people in the region?

Anderselite are delighted to be working with a housing provider based in Leeds to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a company that makes a real difference in peoples lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices.
  • Preparing payment runs.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Dealing with supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures.


Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software packages (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel - vlookup, pivot tables etc.
