Hays are recruiting for a caretaker for a Multi-Academies Trust, which currently consists of fourteen academies; ten primary schools, an all-through primary-to-secondary academy, two alternative provision academies (Primary and Secondary), and a specialist setting for children/young people who suffer from social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The Trust has an excellent reputation within Bradford and beyond, and an outstanding track record of supporting staff in developing their careers through specialist training.The trust are currently looking for a caretaker to join their team on a permanent basis.This role will be 20 hours per week. all year round.The successful candidate will;

  • Be educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English & Maths
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Be responsible for maintenance, security and facilities management services across our two school sites (driving desirable)
  • Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed to providing a high level of service
  • Support the school's Site Team
  • Promote and be responsible for health and safety across school
  • Be able to motivate and inspire children, staff, parents and Governors
  • Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Be someone who can create an atmosphere in which children can thrive and succeed
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Speak fluent English to an appropriate standard, in line with the Immigration Act 2016.
