Job Title: Cleaning & Maintenance Technician (Refrigeration Cases) | Retail Supermarkets

Location: Bradford (Ideal candidates will be located as close to BD4 postcode as possible). This position will be covering Yorkshire & Lancashire

Salary: £27,495.00 per annum

Benefits: Company Vehicle (Shared with colleague), Pension, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Hours: 45 hours per week | Night Shifts (please only apply if happy working nights)

Shift Patterns: Monday/ Tuesday 8pm-8am Wednesday/ Thursday 8pm-7am

Friday Late Morning & Afternoon/ Saturday/ Sunday/ Majority of Monday OFF

We are advertising this Cabinet Cleaning Engineer role on behalf of our client 'CITY FM’. City were established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.

Job Function:

To undertake the cleaning of refrigerating cabinets whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Representing the company in a professional and competent manner at all times and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Delivery of planned cleaning of refrigerating cabinets.
  • Liaison with the Supervisor to ensure that cleaning tasks are delivered on time and to the agreed specification.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues follow safe systems of work on site.
  • Ensuring company vehicle is kept clean, well maintained and serviced as required.
  • Comply with any other reasonable management instruction. Key Performance Indicators:
  • Delivery of works in compliance with the agreed specification and within agreed timescales.
  • Achieve and maintain 100% H & S and job-related competence.
  • Maintenance of company vehicle (where applicable)

Skills / Background Required:

  • Experience of cleaning / basic maintenance, ideally within a retail environment or industrial cleaning environment
  • Full driving licence and flexible to travel on a daily basis
  • A friendly and confident attitude
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Positive approach and committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service
  • Physically fit as the role will involve a lot of bending and lifting
