About the Role:

We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join a dynamic facilities management team. This role is essential in overseeing the efficient operation of multiple school sites, ensuring they are safe, clean, and compliant for both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage up to 3 school sites, with 2 direct reports (Premises Managers).
  • Engage with clients and build strong relationships to enhance service delivery.
  • Drive performance and ensure operational compliance with service level agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for customer issues.
  • Oversee budget management and review profit and loss statements to ensure effective contract delivery.
  • Provide leadership and support to school sites, maintaining statutory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to meet contractual obligations and client expectations.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery performance regularly.
  • Ensure effective use of resources while providing exceptional service to the schools.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Strong background in PFI
  • A background in education or hospitality management
  • Proven people management skills.
  • Experience engaging with senior clientele.
  • In-depth understanding of facilities management, compliance, and operations.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience managing complex multi-site operations.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and IT skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
