A local manufacturer is now keen to appoint a semi-skilled joiner on a contract,which could lead to a permanent position.
This is a fantastic opportunity for people who are looking for long term work, stability and opportunities to progress.
THE ROLE
- To assist in the assembly of doors and door frames.
- Fitting of ironmongery and possibly some glazing.
- When required, packing and wrapping of products.
ESSENTIAL TO APPLY
- Basic joinery experience.
- Ideally but not essential - NVQ in Carpentry and Joinery.
- Able to mitre joints.
- Experience operating various wood cutting machines.
- Able to operate manual and electrical tools.
- Happy to work in a manufacturing / production environment.
- A keen eye for detail.
- You must be honest, reliable and a strong team player.
- Happy to work to a consistently high standard.
