CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - THURSDAY (OCCASIONAL FRIDAYS) START TIMES

£14.00 PER HOUR & £25.00 PER NIGHT OUT

People Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a well established furniture manufacturer in Bradford.

The role will require the driver to spend nights out through the week.

This role may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 2 Vehicles safely and efficiently
• Operate a tail lift
• Sleep in cab
• Multi drop deliveries
• Handball heavy furniture into health centres
• Communicate with customers and the transport department
• Comply with driving rules and regulations
• Provide top tier care to customers and the properties

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Hold a valid CPC Card & Digi Card
• Have a minimum of two years' experience driving Class 2 vehicles
• Excellent customer service skills
• Hold no more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• No major endorsement codes
• Can do attitude
• Must be reasonably physically fit as manual handling involved

Desirable Experience

• Experience of tramping is desirable but not essential

Training

• Manual handling training will be provided
