Area Sales Manager - Pumps

Role: Area Sales Manager
Location: North East
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + benefits package
 
A leading UK company specializing in the supply, manufacture, design, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager. This role offers the opportunity to oversee sales activities across the North East, Yorkshire, and Humber regions, driving growth and building strong client relationships.
 
Key Responsibilities
·Identifying customers, markets, and opportunities to drive sales growth.
·Ensuring all sales align with company goals and deliver profitable results.
·Promoting the full range of company products and services across the region.
·Planning client meetings and workloads to optimize time and cost efficiency.
·Preparing sales reports and maintaining accurate records via CRM systems.
·Providing effective feedback to internal teams to meet and exceed client expectations.
·Building strong rapport with clients to ensure loyalty and long-term partnerships.
·Identifying personal training needs to support career development.
 
Additional Duties
·Remaining flexible to meet business needs.
·Adhering to the company's Health & Safety policies and procedures.
·Undertaking other duties as required by the company
 
 
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
 
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
·A strong command of English and Maths.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Previous experience in a similar role.
 
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
·Engineering qualifications (ONC, HNC, BEng, etc.).
·Knowledge of pumps, pipework, pressure systems, and general engineering principles.
·Familiarity with the industry and its key players
