Reed Business Support are recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier within the retail, hospitality, education and healthcare sectors in the UK.

Due to continued growth our client is looking to add a Sales Account manager to their friendly team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who excels in customer satisfaction, is adept at managing customer accounts, and is skilled in generating new business leads. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and providing top-notch customer service.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage and nurture existing customer accounts to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty
  • Generate new business leads and opportunities to expand customer base
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets and contribute to overall team success
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges
  • Utilise CRM systems to track interactions, sales, and account statuses

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service and account management
  • Strong lead generation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Sales or account management experience is preferred
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
