Our client is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager for their 4-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties) service based in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided
  • Support the implementation of care plans tailored to the needs of each child or young person
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
  • Participate in a rotating shift pattern, including sleep-ins, and manage ad hoc on-call responsibilities

Shift Pattern:

  • 1 day on, 2 days off (including sleep-ins)
  • Shifts operate between 9:30 am and 11:00 pm

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Children’s Care (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience in a residential setting, particularly with EBD
