My client based in West Yorkshire are currently looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager with a focus on Fire Safety. The ideal candidate will drive forward and help build an outstanding Fire Prevention service within the Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Fire Team.
Skills/Experience/Responsibilities
- Experience of managing complex and transformative change in the workplace.
- Ensure specialist fire safety management processes, challenge, advice and support is available and embedded across the service.
- Ensure that the Council complies with Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO) legislation.
- Experience in managing a team, taking responsibility for their coordination, development and appraisal. In addition, monitoring and supporting performance improvement and using a coaching approach to develop team members and maximise their potential.
Originally, the client was looking to recruit to this role permanently. Due to the recruitment round being unsuccessful - they are now looking temp. As it is originally a permanent vacancy, the role is likely to be inside of IR35.
Contract Length: 6 Months
Rate: Negotiable DOE.
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in)
