We are excited to be recruiting for a Commercial Coordinator to join our Bradford based client, a global freight-forwarder. Our client is looking for someone with a background in import/export logistics to take on this new challenge.

This person will be responsible for ensuring top-tier customer service for Overseas Agents, Import Clients, and selected clients. This role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining and developing business relationships.

Key Responsibilities of a Commercial Coordinator:
* Deliver 'VIP' service to external salespeople, clients, and agents.
* Handle customer queries via phone and email - managing customer requirements appropriately.
* Manage shared inbox and provide quotes and service information.
* Input customer bookings and liaising with customers, suppliers, and agents.
* Produce and send documentation, including bills of lading.
* Stay ahead of competition through research and networking.

Skills and attributes of a Commercial Coordinator:
* Excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude.
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and multitask.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Good education in Maths and English.
* Industry-related qualifications are preferred but not essential.
* Experience in import/export freight forwarding required.
