POST- Recruitment is looking to recruit an experienced Technical Sales Executive for a professional Manufacturing business based in Bradford
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for winning new business from existing and new clients and account managing.This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present offerings to clients and foster lasting relationships. As a Technical Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding their market presence.
What you'll be doing:
- Increasing revenue into the business by winning new business from existing and new clients.
- Researching potential new clients
- Building relationships with existing and new clients by virtual meetings, phone, email, LinkedIn and other methods
- Producing reports on sales activity on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
- Upselling services and professionally handing over management of larger sales to a field-based sales team
- Working towards monthly revenue and activity targets
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations showcasing the benefits of the range of services..
- Conduct meetings with management, senior management and clients to identify commercial project requirements, project deliverables and cost/budgets.
- Compile project costing sheets, estimates and quotes
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management using Excel and Office tools
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings.
What we need to see from you:
- Experience in sales, selling over the phone and virtually
- Our client would like you to demonstrate professional sales ability but are flexible on whether this comes from a B2B (business to business) or B2C (business to consumer) background.
- Proven experience in a sales and/or business development role
- Confident and happy to present to both small client groups but also to large audiences.
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships, both externally and internally.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be numeracy and IT literate (Excel/Word/Outlook particularly Excel for reporting purposes).
- Courage to make qualified independent decisions and move forward
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results/solution.
- Collaborative, both within the immediate team and the wider business.
- Be a reliable team player who displays a positive and flexible attitude.
- A confident communicator able to interact at all levels and adapt to different clients.
What you'll get:
36,000 Basic Salary
8am-5pm Monday to Friday
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
