  • Overview: The role of CNC Machinist is to complete all works with no supervision and the ability to set up and operate the CNC machinery, whilst adhering to all shop floor Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Responsibilities:
    • To safely set up, program and operate CNC Machines whilst adhering to all safety policies and procedures
    • Ensure equipment/ machinery is running smoothly, efficiently and to optimum requirements
    • Maintain a clean, neat and organised work area
    • Good understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles
    • Compliance with all quality policies and specifications, and instructions
    • Use of gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements of finished goods
    • Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result
  • Skills/ Experience:
    • Fully trained in operation of CNC / Manual Lathes/ Milling Machines and other
    • Ability to read/ interpret engineering drawings and also work to samples
    • Online programming and editing essential (Fanuc, Siemens & XYZ controls)
    • Experience in CAD/ CAM such as AutoCAD/ OneCNC beneficial
    • Fork truck licence beneficial

Working (Apply online only) Monday-Thurs, (Apply online only) Friday with possibility of overtime
