Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join our client's Bradford team. This position involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines equipped with Heidenhain controls. You'll be tasked with manufacturing high-quality, heavy engineering components, frequently over 3500mm in size.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls.
  • Set up machines to achieve precise dimensions.
  • Work with large engineering components, often exceeding 3500mm.
  • Ensure all parts meet rigorous quality standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any machine issues.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
  • Expertise in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls.
  • Experience with heavy engineering components and large-scale parts.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a strong team player.
