Job Title:CNC MillerSetter Operator
Shift:Night shift,Monday to Thursday - 19:45pm to 06:00am
Rate:Between 18.40 - 20.80 per hour (Thuis includes the shift allowance)
- Christmas bonus
- On site free parking
- Overtime x1.5 after 39 hours
The Job
- Set and operate CNC machining centres (twin pallet horizontal)horizontal and vertical (Okuma and Fanuc). Minor program ammendments may be required.
- Precision machining of bores, faces, diameters of steel components in the manufacture of gears, shafts and gearbox components
- Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual)
- Maintain clean and tidy stations
- Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
- Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.
Requirements
- Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company
- Relevant Engineering Qualification
- Ideally Apprentice Trained
- Competent in Fanuc controls (ESSENTIAL)
- Familiar with the operation of CNC machining cntres, including program adjustments
- Able to prove unproven programs, safely
- Working to tight tolerances
