Job Title: CNC Operator
Location: Bradford
Salary/Hourly Rate: 15 - 18 per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Working Hours/Days: 8am - 4:15pm Monday to Friday
We are looking for a proactive and friendly CNC Operator to join our client's team in Dronfield. If you're passionate about helping customers and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts from wood and plastic materials with precision and accuracy.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to meet production requirements.
- Set up and adjust CNC machines, including loading materials and selecting the appropriate tools.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency in production.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operating CNC machines, especially with wood and plastic materials.
- Proficiency in using PC-to-CNC software for machine programming.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
