Reed Education are delighted to be supporting a local Trust with the recruitment of an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Location: Bradford (split across 2 sites)
Start date: September 2024 (as soon as possible subject to reference and DBS checks)
Your responsibilities will include,
- Responsible for the effective operation of sites, ensuring they are all in excellent condition and appearance
- Manage, develop, and support site staff across the 2 sites
- Manage building and maintenance contracts
- Responsible for upholding health and safety across the sites, this includes conducting regular risk assessments
- Provide technical expertise on health and safety, providing solutions and support
- Responsible for the upkeep of data and compliance across 2 sites, including staff records, and ensuring all records are up to date and accurate
- Responsible for providing or coordinating out of hours and emergency site cover
- Contribute to the development of systems and procedures across both sites and the Trust
- Reporting directly to the Trust Business Manager on financial and compliance updates
What we’re looking for,
- A highly motivated individual with strong communication and organisational skills, and someone who can work collaboratively and independently
- Experience in a similar role in education is preferred but not essential, provided you have transferrable experience as a Senior Site Manager
- Experience in leading a team is desirable
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s ((A-C) including Maths and English and evidence of recent CPD are essential)
- A clear driving licence, and an enhanced DBS on the update service is essential (we can support applicants with this if a check isn’t held)
