Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Building Safety Project Manager for a national housing association on a permanent basis. This is a home based role, with ad-hoc national travel around their sites required. The salary is £46,398 per annum.

The role:

  • Manage various Building Safety and Fire Safety Projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Manage various external contractors to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, holding regular performance meetings
  • Oversee fire safety works including fire doors, ventilation systems, fire alarms and compartmentation works
  • Manage actions arising from fire risk assessments

What you need:

  • Experience of managing Fire and Building Safety works within the social housing sector
  • Experience managing external contractors
  • Budget management and forecasting experience
  • HNC, Degree, or Diploma level qualification in the built environment
  • In depth knowledge of CDM 2015, Approved Document B, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, The Fire Safety Regulations 2022, and The Building Safety Act 2022
