Our client is a national player within the Health and Safety industry, with a prestigious client base, including: commercial, manufacturing, industrial and construction. They are seeking a knowledgeable Health and Safety Consultant, to join their growing outfit. You will be working out of their West Yorkshire office, attending client sites to conduct assessments and inspections of sites and provide comprehensive recommendations. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Health and Safety Consultant within a reputable outfit
- Candidates will be required to hold industry-relevant qualifications, such as: NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire, IOSH
- Will have robust technical knowledge and a keen interest in remaining up-to-date with industry changes
- Excellent written form
- Must be IT literate
- Professional manner and good client-facing skills
The Role:
- You will be conducting in-depth risk assessments and audits across a range of premises to assess any Health and Safety / Fire Risks
- Reviewing current working practices to ensure they are compliant with HSE guidelines
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss findings of investigations
- Conducting ad-hoc noise assessments, asbestos surveys and vibration surveys
- Accident investigation and implementing remedial actions to prevent future incidents
- Leading health and safety training to internal staff and clients
- Assisting clients with maintaining and gaining accreditations
- Maintaining high levels of customer service at all times
- Working to agreed deadlines and budgets
- Travelling as required by the company
