We are recruiting for a knowledgeable Health and Safety Consultant, to service new client contracts for a prestigious Health and Safety outfit. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running upon joining the company, and must be able to eloquently explain and discuss technical matters directly with clients. The role may involve travel if company requirements change, but many contracts are based in the Yorkshire region. They are offering attractive salaries and benefits, including training for further modules.

Our client would prefer candidates to be based in the following locations: Leeds, Rothwell, Morley, Garforth, Sherburn in Elmet, Castleford, Wakefield, Normanton, Featherstone, Dewsbury, Batley, Mirfield, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Halifax, Bradford, Pudsey, Horsforth, Shipley, Keighley, Silsden, Haworth, Ilkley, Otley, Guiseley, Yeadon, Harrogate, Knaresborough, York, Wetherby, Selby, Barnsley, Rochdale, Oldham.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have a successful track record working as a Health and Safety Consultant
- Must be qualified with industry-relevant qualifications, such as: NEBOSH General, NVQ, IOSH, CertIOSH, and / or CMIOSH
- Ideally will hold experience undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and associated qualifications, such as the NEBOSH Fire
- Fully conversant in industry guidelines and protocol
- Strong interpersonal skills and experienced in liaising with clients
- Good IT and written skills
- Flexible to travel as required

The Role:
- Attending a mixed portfolio of client sites to undertake thorough Health and Safety assessments and audits
- Writing bespoke risk reports to advise on highlighted safety concerns and advising on actionable steps to rectify
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss their requirements and provide technical advice
- Formulating method statements and risk assessments
- Accident investigations and conducting route-cause analysis
- Reviewing existing company safety policies and suggesting amendments
- Being a key point of contact for clients
- Travelling to client sites
- Maintaining strong client relationships as well as high levels of service
