Health and Safety Manager required for a leading company based in Bradford who specialise in construction, drainage and fuelling sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role within a successful company.Â
Candidates will be an experienced Health and Safety Manager or a Health and Safety Office who is comfortable working independently. This role would suit candidates who have experience working within the construction sector and you will need to hold the NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent).Â
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Health and Safety, including the maintenance and development of H&S strategies and policies. This will involve carrying out audits both on site and in the office and documenting risk assessments. You will work closely with the company’s engineering team to ensure they are full trained and understand the H&S guidelines and practices they will work within.Â
Health and Safety Manager Role:Â
· Overseeing all aspects of Health and Safety
· On site and office-based audits
· Carry out induction and ongoing H&S training
· Office based – site travel approx. once a week
· Oversee PPEÂ
Health and Safety Manager:Â
· Experienced H&S professional
· Construction industry experience
· Hold NEBOSH (or equivalent)
· Understanding of LOLER regulations or equivalent
