Are you an experienced chef with a passion for cooking and creating tasty dishes? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you can showcase your culinary skills? Our client, an educational institution, is seeking a School Cook to join their dedicated team and provide nutritious meals to approximately 400 students.

?? Working hours: Monday - Thursday from 7:30am to 2:30pm and Friday from 7:30am to 1pm.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals for mid-morning breaks and lunch
Ensure food is of high quality, delicious, and meets the nutritional requirements of the students
Collaborate with the team to create menus and recipes
Maintain clean and organised workstations, following food safety and hygiene guidelines
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed

Requirements:

Relevant experience in food cooking, ideally in a high-volume setting
Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate with Child Barring
Passionate about providing healthy and appetising meals
Strong organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure
