Head of Faculty- Geography
NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a school based in Bradford (BD9). The school are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Head of Faculty for Geography to lead and inspire their exceptional department. As Head of Faculty, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of the Geography curriculum, leading a team of dedicated professionals, and contributing to the wider strategic aims of the school. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Geography education and make a lasting impact on our students learning experiences.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in teaching geography, as well as experience in leading a team. This is a great opportunity for progression within a school environment. This will be a permanent role, starting in September 2025 on a full time basis.
Requirements for Head of Geography:
- Degree in Geography
- Qualified Teaching Status
- Middle Management qualification
- Track record of outstanding teaching
- Strong behaviour management
- Strong leadership qualities
- The ability to teach up to GCSE and A Level
- The Right to Work in thee UK
