Freight Forwarding Customer Service Operator
Location: Bradford
Salary: 24,000 - 29,000 (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am-5:30pm

My client is looking for an experienced Customer Service Operator to join their team based in their Bradford branch. They are a leading global logistics brand, founded over 100 years ago. They employ 20,000 people worldwide and have 10 sites in the UK alone.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Freight Team with quotations, rates and invoicing.
- Completing operational administration for clients and suppliers.
- Liaising with team members and customers customs processes, broker requirements, certification and commodity codes.
- Respond and assist with all customer enquiries.
- Provide all PODs in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- A background and experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is essential.
- Experience working for a UK based freight forwarding company.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience in Freight operations is desirable
- Understanding of Customs processes is desirable
- Good verbal and written communication
