German Speaking Customer Service Advisor (4 Day working week)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8-4 or 9-4 (4 DAY WORKING WEEK AVAILABLE AFTER PROBATION

Our reputable furniture retail client is currently looking for an experienced German Speaking Customer Service Advisor to join their team.  The role will be responsible for delivering high levels of customer service both verbally and written to their German Customer Base.

Main Responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor        

  • Provide outstanding customer support via email, telephone, and online chat in both English and German.
  • Assist customers with inquires related to online shopping, including:

ü  Managing returns, refunds, and exchanges

ü  Resolving issues, coordinating replacements or parts, and guiding customers through assembly processes.

ü  Troubleshooting delivery issues and providing updates.

  • Understand online shopping trends and practices in Germany
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions on the CRM system.
  • Liaise with couriers and shipping partners to provide customers with updates on their delivery.

 

Experience and Skills required

  • Fluent in English and German ( spoken and written)
  • Previous experience in a customer service or related role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong knowledge of online shopping platforms, including Amazon.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
