Salary: Class 1 £19.00 per hour, Class 2 £17.00

About the role
As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver for our client, you will:
- To oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
- Driving either Class 1 and Class 2 Vehicles.
- To check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.
- To ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards, of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.
- Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, & are operated in a safe manner.
What you need to know:
- Start times: between 06:00am and 08.00, plus overtime when necessary.
- Shift pattern: Monday - Friday.
What you must have:
- Must hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
- Must have experience driving a Class 1 or Class 2 vehiclewithin the last six months, ideally 12 months.
- Must hold a valid ADR certification.
- Must have no more than 6 points on license for minoroffences.
- Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
- Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
