Elevation IT are looking for a Data specialist to support one of our key clients in Bradford on a 9-12 month fixed term contract basis as they prepare to embark on an exciting new ERP implementation project!

Site based role Monday – Friday – Bradford

Salary £30,000 - £50,000 DOE

The Data Specialist will play a key role in managing and optimising data across their manufacturing operation. This role involves gathering, inputting, and cleansing data ensuring data is accurate, timely, and ready for analysis, contributing directly to the efficiency of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, verify, and manage data in the company’s systems, ensuring timely and accurate entry of production, inventory, and operational data.
  • Collect relevant data from internal systems, production teams, and external sources to support decision-making and reporting.
  • Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies in large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality control, and supply chain) to ensure data is aligned with operational needs.
  • Support the development of data quality best practices and help streamline processes for ongoing data management.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for management and operational staff.
  • Continuously monitor data performance and recommend improvements to data management processes.

We are keen to speak with data professionals with the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in data management, including data input, gathering, and cleansing, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Proficiency with data entry software and tools such as Excel, SQL, ERP systems, and other data management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology is a plus.
