Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000Benefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Designer / Draughtsperson - Bespoke Joinery & Furniture will involve:
- Designer position dealing with a high end bespoke range of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
- Responsibility for efficient and accurate delivery of design schemes in line with client requirements, project scope, costs, material lead times and deadlines
- Review and interpret client drawings to gain a full understanding of what the project entails
- Liaising with the client to obtain and further information that is required
- Producing clear 2D drawings using Solidworks & Rhino, elevations and layouts should be scaled accordingly to maximise clarity and understanding
- Working closely with the Design Manager on completed works and projected workload
- Liaise with procurement, project and workshop teams regarding any long lead time materials
- Discuss design decisions with Lead Joiners
- Working on projects ranging in value from £1k - £3.5m
The ideal applicant will be a Designer / Draughtsperson - Bespoke Joinery & Furniture with:
- Must have a design or draughtsperson experience utilising Solidworks or Rhino software
- Familiar with producing layout drawings
- Furniture, fit out, joinery or carpentry design experience would be highly advantageous
- Must have the ability to read technical drawings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High levels of attention to detail
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Genuine 'get up and go’ work ethic
