A bespoke Machinery & Material Handling Equipment manufacturer in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.
The role involves overseeing complex designs from initial conception to completion within a multi-disciplined Engineering team.
Candidates should have a strong background in Mechanical Design, specifically with heavy equipment, fabrications, and machinery, and must possess an HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with Solidworks, AutoCAD, and FEA is required, along with the ability to manage projects valued over £1M.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have a significant level of experience in the field.

A bespoke Machinery & Material Handling Equipment manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.

Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, this role will consist of the development on full design projects within a multi-disciplined Engineering team. Youll oversee complex designs from initial conception, designing large scale structures and mechanical handling equipment, including calculations and FEA on projects valued over £1M.

This role will suit an Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Design, with experience designing heavy equipment, fabrications & machinery.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Or similar)
Experienced with: Fabrications, Lifting Equipment, Hydraulics Machinery
Solidworks & AutoCAD
FEA
Overseeing Designs from Concept to Completion
