We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Supply practitioners to join our clients dedicated teams in a nurturing Early Years setting based across Bradford, Keighley and Cleckheaton

Role Overview:

As a Supply Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting early years settings by providing high-quality, flexible childcare on a temporary or on-call basis. You will step into various nursery environments, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and development of children in your care. Your ability to adapt quickly, build positive relationships, and uphold safeguarding standards is essential to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and well-organised environment for the children.
  • Supervise, support, and motivate a team of Early Years Educators.
  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote all areas of learning.
  • Regularly observe and assess children's progress to create and update their individual learning profiles.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's development and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Ensure the room meets health and safety standards, following safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with management to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 Early Years Education and Care qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working in an Early Years setting,
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their learning journey.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to ensuring all children are safe, happy, and engaged in their learning.
