Level 3 Teaching Assistant

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Bradford (BD12). The school are currently looking to hire a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to support their classroom teacher. The day to day duties will include helping to plan and prepare the classroom and supporting the children with their learning and development. The chosen candidate will have experience working across both key stage 1 and key stage 2 and will also have a strong knowledge of EYFS development. Within this role, the Level 3 teaching assistant will also be expected to support children with special educational needs and work on a 1:1 basis where required. This job will also include leading intervention, reading and phonics groups, so will, therefore, have up-to-date knowledge about specific frameworks such as read-write and Little Wandle. This school is rated as 'Good' by Ofsted for leadership and management and is looking to recruit as soon as possible.

Requirements for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

  • A Level 3 certificate in child development or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience working within the education sector
  • Two professional references
  • An enhanced Child DBS on the update service
  • The Right to work in the UK
  • Strong communication skills to contribute effectively to a successful team
