We are currently seeking full-time SEMH Teaching Assistants to work with Key Stage 3 and 4 students in the BD5 area of Bradford. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in young lives, supporting students with complex needs from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEMH and additional learning needs, ensuring their educational and emotional development.
- Assist students 1:1 or in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and develop social skills.
- Help manage behaviour, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques to create a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and provide feedback on student progress.
- Support students in both academic tasks and personal development, acting as a mentor and positive role model.
- Promote an inclusive atmosphere where every student is respected and encouraged to achieve.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or other behavioural challenges.
- A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- The ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
