Job Overview:We are seeking a Semi-Skilled Engineer to support an experienced Engineering Fitter on a variety of projects.

Initially for the first couple of months, the work will include the assembly and installation of industrial ovens. This role requires someone with a mechanical aptitude, a flexible approach, and a willingness to take on varied tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building industrial ovens, including:

  • Oven assembly.
  • Basic electrical wiring.
  • Assembling switches into fascias.
  • Painting internal components.

General engineering workshop tasks, such as:

  • Drilling holes and tapping.
  • Fitting and assembly work.

Support in moving to new premises, including:

  • Building water pipework and troughs.
  • Assisting in the construction of bespoke equipment.

Requirements:

  • Some experience in an engineering workshop or similar environment.
  • A mechanical bias with the ability to apply hands-on skills to various tasks.
  • Familiarity with assembly, repair, and general engineering tasks.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to take on a variety of duties.
