Description
Key responsibilities for the Finance business partner
- Providing strategic financial advice to senior management.
- Ensuring financial compliance and effective risk management.
- Developing and maintaining budgetary control systems.
- Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives high performance
- Identifying opportunities for financial improvement and cost reduction.
- Preparation and presentation of financial reports.
- Contributing to the development of the trust's financial strategy.
- Supporting the development and implementation of financial policies.
- Collaborating with other departments for financial planning and forecasting.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- A qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Experience in strategic financial planning and analysis.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability in financial management and budget control.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in a Not for Profit or similar sector.
Job Offer
What's on offer for the Finance Business Partner:
- A competitive salary of approximately £50,000 - £57,000 per year.
