We are excited to be recruiting for a Freight Administrator to join our Bradford based client, a global freight-forwarder. Our client is looking for someone with a background in import/export logistics to take on this new challenge.

Positioned in the operations team, this role involves handling bookings, customer queries, and maintaining accurate data while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail. You will be working as part of a team, ensuring deadlines are met for customers.

Key Responsibilities for a Freight Administrator:
* Respond to customer queries via phone and email.
* Monitor and manage a shared inbox.
* Provide quotes, pricing, and service information.
* Input customer bookings into the system (Cargowise).
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and agents.
* Produce and send customer documentation, including bills of lading.

Skills & Competencies for an Freight Administrator:
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Professional telephone manner and effective communication skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work to deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Good level of education in Maths & English.
* A background in supply chain or freight-forwarding is essential.
* Experience in sea-freight and export is desirable.
